No where else in the world can you find the range of disciplines in one school. Over the last 50 years as we forged new programs, built our home in New York and expanded to our global academic centers, institutes emerged. Each are built with shared values, common goals, and a priority for putting students first. The result – a place where artists and scholars create the future.
Each semester, we offer select courses for non-majors at NYU. To see which courses are open to non-majors, please review the notes section of each course on Albert. To view the notes, simply click into each course.
Unfortunately, our production and performance courses are not available for non-majors during the fall and spring semesters. Over the summer (and J Term) we offer courses for non-majors and visiting students: http://tisch.nyu.edu/clive-davis-institute/Summer_for_Visiting_Students.
Please complete a separate form for each class you are interested in taking. By completing this form, you will be placed on an in-house manual wait list. TWO weeks after registration begins, we will contact you in the order requests were received to notify you of whether or not there is space available in the course.
Once approved, you will be asked to clear any time conflicts and make sure there are enough credits available in your schedule. Once your schedule is clear, the Clive Davis Institute will enroll you in the course.
If you have any questions, please contact Alan Watson at aow207@nyu.edu.
